What it is: Lactic Acid peels are alpha hydroxy acids. These peels are more gentle on the skin than Glycolic and Salicylic peels. Moisturizing peel. Increases collagen production, resurfaces skin, improves skin texture. Reduces the appearance of uneven skin.

What it is formulated to do: Lactic acid peels help to eliminate germs, toxins and dead cells on skin’s surface. Rejuvenates skin by encouraging the shedding of old, sun-damaged surface skin cells. It stimulates new growth of skin and collagen by decreasing the bond that holds dead skin cells on the surface. This allows dead cells to be removed gradually, leaving behind a layer of smoother and softer skin.
For whom is this product? Lactic acid peels 25-40% strength are ideal treatments for individuals who are new to lactic peels (Great for all skin types, including dry to sensitive types). First time users should always start at 25% to avoid burns. Lactic peels 60-88% strength are ideal treatments for individuals who have had prior experience using lactic acid peels of equal or greater strength

1: Cleanse face with an oil-free cleanser.
2: Prepare skin with an alcohol/water solution (50/50 mixture). This will help to break up any oil on skin's surface for a more even application.
3: Have a neutralizing solution ready to stop the action of the acid if needed. We recommend a baking soda/water solution (50/50).
4: Apply peel to face with a cotton ball, applying more pressure on areas that need added exfoliation.
5: Wait 2-3 minutes.
6: Rinse thoroughly with warm water. If needed, use neutralizing solution from step 3, to neutralize acid.
7: Apply a good skin moisturizer unto treated area. We recommend our tepezcohuite cream.
8: Repeat peel once a week. Enjoy!
Tips to Remember
Keep the acid a quarter-inch or more away from the eyes and mucus membranes. Never use the peel on open wounds, irritated or highly sensitive skin. Don't use the product more than once a week. Avoid sun exposure for at least a day after the peel. Don't apply acid to skin that's been shaved within a day. A slight stinging sensation is normal after applying the acid; if it hurts or is too uncomfortable, rinse off the acid. Skin may be red after a peel; the redness should fade.
This product may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30+ and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.
